Enlivening Porseni Bakrie 2026, Bakrie University Tennis Team Shows Best Performance

Jakarta – The Bakrie University Tennis Team recorded another proud achievement at the 2026 Bakrie Sports and Arts Week (PORSENI) by successfully reaching the semifinals and ending the competition as 4th place. This achievement is the best achievement throughout Bakrie University's participation in tennis in the PORSENI Bakrie event.

The 2026 PORSENI Bakrie tennis tournament was attended by 13 teams divided into four groups. The Bakrie University Tennis Team was part of Group B and managed to finish the preliminary round as group runner-up, so they had the right to advance to the quarter-finals.

In the quarter-final match, Bakrie University faced a tough challenge by meeting the Kaltim Prima Coal Team (KPC), which was the top seed. first and defending champions after emerging as winners of Group C. In a fierce match, the Bakrie University Tennis Team appeared full of enthusiasm, discipline and confidence until they succeeded in overthrowing KPC. This victory was one of the biggest surprises in the tournament and also led Bakrie University to the semifinals.

This success is a new milestone for Bakrie University. In the previous year's PORSENI event, the Bakrie University tennis team was only able to reach the quarter-finals. This year, this achievement was successfully improved by qualifying for the semifinals and reaching the top four.

The Bakrie University Tennis Team is strengthened by lecturers across study programs who demonstrate the spirit of sportsmanship, collaboration and solidarity, namely:
