Bakrie University Informatics Students Win Red Hat Academy (rha) Challenge 2025

Jakarta, December 2025. Another proud achievement inscribed by students Bakrie University Informatics Study Program. One of the students from the class of 2022, I Putu Aditya Warman, managed to make a brilliant achievement by winning Red Hat Academy (RHA) Challenge 2025, a technology competition based on the Linux and open-source operating system which was attended by more than 100 participants from various universities.

In the competition, Bakrie University students managed to secure 1st, 2nd and 4th positions, an extraordinary achievement that shows quality, competitiveness, and students' readiness to face the challenges of the global technology industry.

This success cannot be separated from the strategic collaboration between Bakrie University and Red Hat Academy, which consistently equips students with skills practical, self-confident, and industry-based experience from an early age.

Head of the Informatics Study Program at Bakrie University, Dr. Iwan Adhicandra, expressed his appreciation for this achievement.

“This achievement is proof that Bakrie University Informatics students are not only strong in theory, but also ready in practice and competitive at the national level and globally. Our collaboration with Red Hat Academy is designed to build students' confidence, technical skills and professional mindset from an early age," he said.

He also emphasized that this achievement is in line with the direction of curriculum development based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and industry-driven learning implemented in the Informatics Study Program.

“We encourage students to actively participate in competitions, certifications and industry programs he added.

RHA Challenge 2025 itself was held virtually and provided an opportunity for students to showcase technical skills in the fields of Linux, open-source systems, and enterprise technology, while gaining valuable experience that is very useful for future competitions and professional careers.

It is hoped that the achievements achieved by I Putu Aditya Warman and other Bakrie University students will be an inspiration for the academic community to continue to develop competence, dare to compete, and expand professional networks at national and international levels.
